Snapshot poem: Earth

Earth.
mistreated you are.
your ground covered in filth.
you need a new re-birth.

you're oil stained seas
you're polluted air
you're dying animals.
This is so unfair.

what has the common man done to you?
once so green
once so blue.
now an ashen color.
i wish it was un-true.

earth is our home.
earth is our planet.
protect it
for it's the only one we've got.
